The Montessori Academy at Edison Lakes is a
nationally accredited school dedicated to promoting self-worth,
discipline, and a passion for learning. This is a place where
students enjoy and benefit from a unique blend of time-proven ideas
and practices that value individuality and address the academic,
social-emotional, and physical development of the "whole child". A
Montessori education is
"An Education for Life" because it prepares your child to become a
responsible, respectful adult who is accustomed to success in life.
Completing each of the three-year Montessori cycles builds an
exceptionally strong foundation for educational success.
The Montessori faculty emphasizes self-motivation, independent
thinking and individualized communication skills so that your child
will become a well-rounded, self-motivated learner and an
independent thinker. These particular assets combine to make
Montessori graduates better prepared for each new challenge in life.
Our graduates not only perform at their highest academic ability,
but also excel as school leaders in sports, the arts and the
sciences. Montessori graduates are well prepared for community
service, thanks to their positive experiences with volunteering
while at The Montessori Academy.
Every year, hundreds of area students and their families experience
these successful teaching methods by enrolling in The Montessori
Academy at Edison Lakes. The faculty and staff at TMA know that your
child is an individual—with an individual temperament, personality
and learning style. It is in this comfortable, safe environment that
students are challenged to mature mentally, socially and
academically.
