The faculty and staff include Classroom Teachers, Interns,
Assistants, and Departmental Teachers. The administrative staff
includes the Head of the School, Director of Admissions,
Director of Finance, and support staff.
All Montessori teachers have received Montessori philosophy
training and/or are fully certified by the American Montessori
Society or Association Montessori International.The entire staff, working together, provide the foundation of professionalism and excellence found at The Montessori Academy. In our child-centered community, the love of learning is fostered each day through a spirit of respect, love and cooperation.
Parents are encouraged to share important information about their child with the teacher and to contact the teacher with any questions or concerns. The use of e-mail or voice-mail is preferred. Since a consistent and calm routine is necessary at the beginning of each day, please try not to confer with teachers before or during class. Their energies and attention are directed toward the children at that time. Teachers should be contacted at home in case of emergency ONLY. Call the school office or send a note with your child requesting a conference or phone call, and the teachers will call you as soon as possible.
