Classroom Observation

Parents are invited to observe the students working in the classes. Non-interactive observation is one of the best ways to gain a full perspective of your child’s learning and social skills. An essential element in our Montessori training is that of observing children socially and intellectually in order to guide their educational program.

Observation differs from volunteering or helping the children. Parents are welcome to observe any time. No appointment is required, but we encourage you to schedule in advance so that we can confirm the class activity schedule with you.

The Toddler and Early Childhood classes have a one-way window so that you can observe without being seen by your child.

The Elementary and Junior High class observations occur within the class.
