For more than twenty years, The Montessori Academy's annual
Windfall event has brought together
members and supporters of the school community for an evening of celebration. It has evolved into one of the most important fundraising initiatives to help the school support its mission, instilling in students a lifelong passion for learning.

WHAT IS
WINDFALL?
Windfall is an annual dinner and auction
to raise funds for The Montessori Academy at Edison Lakes.
The monies raised are part of our yearly budget and go
directly to fund our classrooms through professional
development and classroom supplies and materials that are
unique to a Montessori education.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
The Windfall auction is a fun, adults-only evening with good friends, fine food and opportunities to bid on great donated items. The silent auction takes place early in the evening. You will have a chance to view the items and write in your bids on bid sheets. Silent auction tables will close in time for you to enjoy dessert and find your seat for the live auction fun. Get ready to raise your paddle for some big ticket items, including your own child's classroom art project!
Tickets
Please reserve your Auction/Dinner tickets today.
to open the .pdf for your registration and dinner choices, or return the response card included with your
invitation.
Raffle Tickets
50/50 raffle tickets are available for sale at the front desk and will be available at the auction. You do not need to be present to win.
CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?
The auction is an adults-only event. However, we may be able to assist you with finding childcare. Please contact the office for information.
DO I HAVE TO SPEND A LOT OF MONEY?
The auction is a TMA fundraiser, so we hope you come prepared to bid what you can. You might spend some of your family's dining dollars on restaurant gift certificates and some of your vacation dollars on an auction adventure. The silent auction offers a wide range of items with a similarly wide price range. There are also “non-bidding” options, like the 50/50 raffle tickets. You are sure to find something in the auction to fit your budget. However, you are not obligated to bid on anything. You are also encouraged to invite friends, family and colleagues who have spending power. Egging on interested bidders is highly encouraged!
I CAN’T ATTEND BUT WANT TO BID - WHAT CAN I DO?
This year we have absentee bidding available if you cannot attend. A preview catalog will be available for your review and sent home with the weekly memo. If you are unable to attend but see an item you want, please fill out the absentee bid form and return it to Suzette by noon on the 19th of March.
