"The studies which have been made of early
infancy leave no room for doubt:
the first two years are important forever, because in that period,
one passes from being nothing into being something."
"Adults work to finish a task, but the child works in order to grow,
and is working to create the adult, the person that is to be."

As an extension of the home, the Toddler
Program facilitates the early stages of developing independence.
The environment is a nurturing setting designed around the needs
of toddlers that encourages and entices them to explore the
wonders of their world. Daily activities include focus on
developing motor, language and social skills in an intimate
group of ten to twelve children supported by two teachers.

The Parent/Child Program cultivates
parents’ understanding of their child’s development through
observations, activities, and participation in discussion
groups. Through this program, children make enormous strides in
language development, motor skills,
and in the ability to solve problems. They also develop a sense of independence as they begin to see themselves as ‘doers’.
Parents will learn activities to encourage the different developmental stages, practice and refine their observations, and gain an understanding of how to incorporate a Montessori ‘point of view’ to practice at home.
