About Annual Giving

What is Annual Giving?

Like most independent schools, The Montessori Academy does not receive government funding, and tuition alone does not cover the cost to maintain the entire Montessori program. Each year, the Annual Giving Campaign provides financial support essential to bridge the gap between tuition and actual operating costs.

What is The Giving Tree?

The Giving Tree is our donor recognition tree located in the front lobby. Each year an engraved leaf or rock will be placed on the tree to serve as a lasting reminder of our contributor's support. Patrons will receive a bronze leaf, Guardians will receive a gold leaf, Directors will receive a platinum leaf and Benefactors will receive a rock plaque. All contributors will be recognized in the Annual Report.

What is the Donor Recognition Party?

Contributors who donate at the Patron level and above will be invited to attend the Annual Donor Recognition Party.

What are the Giving Levels?

Benefactor: $10,000 and above
Director: $5,000-$9,999
Guardian: $2,500-$4,999
Patron: $1,000-$2,4999
Supporter: $500-$999
Friend: Up to $499

Why should I participate?

It takes a unified community—parents, grandparents, alumni, teachers, and friends—all of us, to sustain this wonderful Montessori program. Together, we can help preserve and nourish this environment for not only our children, but for our grandchildren and generations to come.

Every gift makes a difference….please make a difference today.
