Toddlers are growing in independence and abound in natural curiosity. The Montessori Academy’s Toddler classrooms are nurturing environments that serve as a bridge between home and school. Toddlers are allowed to do what comes naturally and are encouraged to explore the wonders of their world.

The Montessori materials serve to promote gross and fine motor coordination, and develop cognitive and social-emotional development. Children work together and begin learning social skills that serve to develop a sense of empathy and community. Their Montessori works establish strong foundations for future learning and, at this young age, they can begin to develop independence and responsibility for themselves and their classroom community.

“We have a 2-year-old in the Toddler program and a 4-year-old in the preschool program at Montessori Academy Edison Lakes and we are thrilled with our experience at the school. Our children are well cared for in a clean, welcoming, and respectful environment. We truly feel as though this is the very best education we can offer our children.”
